The blackberry is an edible fruit produced by many species in the Rubus genus in the Rosaceae family, hybrids among these species within the Rubus subgenus, and hybrids between the Rubus and Idaeobatus subgenera. The taxonomy of the blackberries has historically been confused because of hybridization and apomixis, so that species have often been grouped together and called species aggregates.
Did you know blackberries are the fruits with the highest levels of antioxidants? Yep, they most certainly are. Which means they fight free radicals, keep you healthy, and keep your skin looking young and fresh.
Not only are they tasty, but blackberries are also full of phytoestrogens which reduces symptoms of PMS, food cravings, bloating, and even hot flashes making them your best friend at that ‘time of the month.
Speaking of which, I don’t know about you, but I generally crave sugar when I’m on my cycle. Instead of reaching for a sugar-laden bar of chocolate, reach for this BerryBliss Mylkshake instead!
